Dear Sir/Madam,

I take issue with the remarks attributed to your association in last Thursday's issue of "The Irish News", 23rd August 2007. The inference was made that because of the existence of an Ombudsman in the six counties there is no problem with rogue solicitors. The opposite is the case. If you can kindly attend the meeting at Walsh's Hotel, Main Street, Maghera, Co. Derry on Thursday 27th September 2007 at 8pm, you will witness the trail of destruction left by unprofessional and unaccountable solicitors. Before you decide continuing to defend these rogues, you should come and witness for yourself.

Looking forward to seeing you in Maghera.

Yours faithfully,

Seamus Power
