JUDICIAL CORRUPTION IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Lunar pertains to the moon and a lunatic is an insane person or a person acting like a loony unconscious to him or herself. In plain language, they are crazy people, mentally deranged, in some cases they show their madness by excessively screaming for short periods of time and in many cases intermittently if things are not going the way that they think they should be going, and then there are the silent mentally deranged crazy ones who sit there ready and trained to take the nod and wink "right or wrong" to give an Order/Judgment with total disregard for the rule of law, the Constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights - with dire consequences in Ireland for many thousands of decent honest individuals and families who speak the truth in all things but have no voice when surrounded by greedy grabbing vultures who have few or no morals or ethical standards.
From Paris on the 21st of June 2008 to the London Times and the Irish Independent, we read that French judges reject testing to weed out mavericks. Judges are told to undergo psychological tests in an attempt to weed out mavericks, alcoholics and other undesirable characters. France is the latest country to force psychometrics on a reluctant judiciary. The judges are furious at the questionnaire designed to determine how neurotic, extrovert, agreeable, conscientious, etc they really are. The French judges are also livid at the plan to ask psychologists to measure their intelligence.
The tests will eliminate at least 50% who are unfit and/or unsuitable to sit on the bench and it was encouraging to note that the programme was approved by the National College for Magistrates/Judges where trainee judges spend three years before heading for the bench. The college has thousands of applicants but only a small few make the grade and are selected. This is the system that is long overdue in Ireland and I have no doubt whatsoever that the numbers who are unfit and unsuitable here will be far greater than 50%. This would also put an end to political hack jobs.
To give just one example, in less than two weeks before Bertie Ahern was ousted from Dail Eireann, a solicitor from Mohill, Co. Leitrim was promoted to the Donegal Circuit, a solicitor who has multiple complaints against him for wrongdoing; and on the 1st of June 2008 a young lady who said that she was a daughter of the said solicitor called to a house in Co. Sligo to try to persuade the lady of the house to stop at once the proceedings against her father, the said solicitor. Would this constitute interfering with a witness? Someone please tell me. Many people who know this man will tell you that he is at least a notorious bully if not a head case. A call on Friday 4 July 2008 told us that the Judge/Solicitor was cleared by the Disciplinary Tribunal of the Law Society before the trial.
While on the subject of the Disciplinary Tribunal farce, on the 1st of July 2008 a small group of Victims of the Legal Profession sat in on a Disciplinary Hearing at The Friary, Bow Street, Dublin between victim Elizabeth Shannon and Solicitor Carter from Sligo Town, and my God above, the conduct of two of the panel on the bench, Solicitors Hugh O'Neill and Carol Fawsett, was the nearest thing to a street fracas that you could ever witness.
This Mohill solicitor boasted to his female friends as far back as three years ago that he was going to be promoted to the bench by Fianna Fail. He gave other reasons as well, which we will keep under wraps for the time being. And as said about C.J. Haughey, the dogs in the streets know about this character and of many other borderline and not so borderline cases who have been and are unfit and unsuitable to sit in judgment of a pet, let alone a human being.
Elizabeth Shannon is again dragged back before this crazy scene in October and November to be screamed and roared at for no other reason than to mentally and morally defeat her with bully-boy tactics. That hellhole at The Friary, Bow Street, Dublin is a prime example of Ireland in the dark ages, and as is the case in most of these cases, Solicitor Carter will walk free.
This was the closest you will ever get to false imprisonment. If you were to see this case on video camera as suggested by the Garda sergeants and inspectors, at least three of these people would be taken in for questioning; so unfit were they for the job that the pressure got to them at 2.50pm and they went for a break and did not reappear until 3.15pm.
The adjournment until October/November was arranged totally to suit the bench with total disregard for Elizabeth and her sister's calls. Council for Solicitor Carter Ms Nerney was told on a number of occasions that she was lying and did not deny the allegations. I have never been in a lunatic asylum but if it is anything like the scene in Bow Street, give us the lunatic asylum.
The Irish Times, Monday June 30 2008, at the World Conference of Advocates and Barristers, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin said people turn to Mafia-style groups when they have lost confidence in the Law to protect them. The Law must work and be seen to work. If the Law is not based on Equality, it is not Law. Recalling Martin Luther King's pronouncement that people had a duty to disobey unjust law, the Archbishop went on to speak about the independence of the legal profession and the healthy features of Irish legal system but made no mention of either the mass corruption and criminal deception that has destroyed tens of thousands of Irish people or the unfit judges who are chosen by corrupt people in Government.
The Archbishop went on to say that it is the function of the Law to protect the weak and vulnerable and curb the arrogance of the powerful, and ensure that the Law applies equally to all. The only other person in the article worth mentioning is the Right Honourable Michael McDowell who is sadly missed by all victims of legal and judicial abuse.
We, the victims of legal corruption and especially judicial corruption, bias and prejudice want and will accept no more and no less than that which is acceptable in France and many other countries; we have had enough of political hacks and mentally deranged judges on the bench.
From the middle of July onwards we, the victims of a corrupt and deranged legal and judicial system, will exercise within the Law our rights under the European Convention on Human Rights.
