I refer to the submission made by you in connection to the above planning application.

I am to inform you that the decision of the Planning Authority has been appealed to An Bord Pleanála on 5th January 2009 and the Council was notified of this appeal on 8th January 2009. I have not been advised of the appeal reference number but this should be available on the Boards Website shortly, www.pleanala.ie.

A copy of the appeal is available for inspection (or purchase for a fee) during office hours (9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday) at the offices of Clare County Council at the above address.

Submissions or observations in relation to the appeal may be made in writing to the Board within the appropriate period and on payment of the appropriate fee.
